Hey guys! I’m excited to show you a little home tour today, summer style! I’m joining Gina from Shabby Creek Cottage for her Summer Tour of Homes this year. If you are stopping by from The Graphics Fairy-DIY, thank you, I can’t wait to show you our home! So sit back, relax, and enjoy the tour! I’m going to do little talking here, so there will be a source list at the bottom of my post and throughout my post where you can find the details on everything.
Ok ready? Come on in.
Now I have a different rug in the entry though…
I like decorating that antique dresser too and re-accessorizing when inspiration strikes.
To the left of the entry is the office.
Then we have the white kitchen which is my fav.
Then the breakfast room is adjacent to the kitchen.
Which by the way I’ve been searching around for a new table. I’m just over the counter-height table. Do I want a banquette style seating? I don’t know. But I do want a bench for sure!
Here’s the living room which is also open to the kitchen/breakfast area.
You can read about that gallery wall here.
Our bedroom has had many looks in my blogging lifetime, and this is the latest one (the navy and coral bedroom).
And this is our master bathroom and coral vanity that I just refinished doing too.
Can you tell I love coral yet?
I love redecorating our mantel seasonally too. (just search for “mantel” in my search box to find more mantel posts)
Oh, to finish off the downstairs, we have the orange and aqua laundry room. I still love this room very much!
We do have a great patio that I love and we had it added on to the house shortly after we moved in.
And most of the rooms are still in transition upstairs so I don’t think I’ll even post about them today. I am *almost* ready to show you the finished nursery which I LOVE, so be sure and come back for that.
Thanks so much for taking the summer tour I hope you enjoyed it! You can find details to all of these rooms under my “Tour Our Home Tab” so please look for everything there. There you can also see the before pictures too so you know where this house has come from! And how my style has changed. Wowee. I have also linked to them again throughout my post. :)
Be sure and check out more amazing home tours today and all week long! Next up is my sweet friend Roeshel from DIY Showoff and Karen from The Graphics Fairy-DIY so be sure and check out their gorgeous homes too!
Gina is having a link party on Friday where you all can link up your summer home tours as well. I would love to see all of yours too so link up if you can!

Your home is lovely! The biggest thing I noticed is what a difference a rug makes! I kept flipping the entry pictures back and forth, thinking you must have changed a lot, but no….besides a “coral” addition, it’s that rug. Wow. I also think the rug in your laundry room is gorgeous. And I’m going back to study your bedroom…navy and coral are my absolute favorites. When I see how the artwork just tied everything together, and the mirrors added so much light to a dark wall… I’ll stop now. :)
Decorchick! says
Aww thank you Beth Ann this was so nice! I love how you really studied everything closely and caught the details. :)

I think the entry rug you have now really makes it look so different. I happen to love the ‘now’ one. You really do have an eye for these things and know how to tie them all together.
Your house is beautiful.

Thanks so much Tammi! Rugs can make such a difference it amazes me too!

I have been following your blog since shortly after I moved into my house 2 years ago. Your home is AMAZING! Between you and Ana White, I have gotten so much accomplished and at minimal expense thanks to you both. I am 2 years in, and though I have gotten a lot done, I have MUCH more to do. Your posts keep me motivated when I’m ready to call it quits. I love all that you have done and could never choose a favorite. I have spent hours navigating your site and jotting notes. I am not too good at commenting/participating in giveaways and such, but I am working on that…you most definately deserve every bit of recognition you get. Keep up the GREAT work!

I am in love with that peacock painting. I may steal it while you’re asleep. A word on bench seating: I hate it! I love the look and I thought it would just be so great, but it makes an awkward situation when one person wants to get up and half of it is slid out and half of it is in and if it’s backless it’s just not very comfy but if it has a back it makes it that much heavier to slide in and out. Ugh. And if it’s a long bench for more than 2 people, everyone in the middle has to do that unflattering sideways slide-in. Double Ugh! I’m saving up to ditch the bench and just get regular chairs.
Marie@InteriorFrugalista says
Emily, your home is beautiful. I love the gutsy coral vanity. It has inspired me to paint mine a beautiful bright colour. Thanks for the tour!

Your home looks absolutely gorgeous! Especially loved the kitchen remodel. The counter-top is laminate, isn’t it? Looks a lot like quartz. And the all-white look gives the whole space a very airy look.

Your home is Beautiful! You have such talent and an eye for design. Thanks for sharing tips, tricks and where to buy those fabulous curtains…Curtain Works! I am in the middle of repainting my kitchen, but I’m having a hard time choosing a color. My cabinets are a medium oak/brown, granite top is a mix of dark brown colors and my floor is similar to the color of your kitchen floor. Walls are wine, yes…wine!. I want a change the wall color, but having a hard time deciding what will work. Can you please give me some tips on a color that would work with all the brown in my kitchen? I could also send pictures if needed. Appreciate any advice.
Thanks so, so much and thanks for the tour!
