You know, that mom who lets their kids have a million toys and vowed to never let toys overtake their house because the clutter would drive her insane and she truly believed in the whole less is more thing when it comes to kids and toys.
Creating a WoCave, a/k/a A Woman Cave
Have you ever heard of a WoCave, actually pronounced “wo-cah-vay?” I haven’t either but it sure sounds enticing. We’ve all heard of man-caves, but what about us? What about the women? We need our own little spaces too right? A place to escape from the craziness of the day (or our kids) and just chill. YES, please.
Painted Interior Doors
Happy Monday everyone hope you had a good weekend! I’ve been pondering painted interior doors for quite some time now, so I’m finally coming to you all to help me make a decision. I’m going to do this, and wanted to do it yesternow, but I just couldn’t decide. I love it when I see other people paint their interior doors black and think it looks so sharp. Why haven’t I jumped on the bandwagon yet?! I think I’m going to start by painting our pantry door in the white kitchen, so keep that in mind. If all goes well, then I’ll do the rest. :)
A Not Too Pinteresty Vintage Shabby Chic Ballerina Party
Remember when I wrote a few weeks ago about my thoughts on Pinterest? Well, I really tried to not go overboard for Ellie’s 1st birthday party and I think I succeeded! I had a vision of a plethora of different things for a theme, so I’m calling hers a vintage shabby chic ballerina tutu and pink party. How’s that? While not going overboard, the dessert table was still very pretty I thought.
A Gorgeous Rose Cake
Hi friends! I very much enjoyed our July 4th holiday and am ready to get back to business. I hope you had a good one too! If you follow me on Instagram you know we had Ellie’s 1 year old party over the weekend! It was so much fun. I will talk about the party later this week, but today I have to show off the rockstar rose/rosette cake my mom made.
