Hey everyone! I’ve been busy this week getting ready to head out to Atlanta, but this is a post I’ve been meaning to write for a few months now. Remember when I finally shed all of my baby weight (all 75 pounds of it!), several of you would ask me what I ate etc, and I posted a few of my food diaries in those posts too so you could see what I ate on a day to day basis. Now that it’s past me and the weight is off, I’ve still managed to keep it all off, and have even lost about 7-10 lbs more since that post. Woohoo! But since this isn’t a perfect world and there are going to be times when you are out and about and you need to grab a bite to eat, or if you just want to go to a nice dinner with your family or something, I wanted to tell you what my 7 favorite places to eat out are, and are places where you have the option to eat well and have it taste good! Even better.

Remember when I wrote a few weeks ago about my thoughts on Pinterest? Well, I really tried to not go overboard for Ellie’s 1st birthday party and I think I succeeded! I had a vision of a plethora of different things for a theme, so I’m calling hers a vintage shabby chic ballerina tutu and pink party. How’s that? While not going overboard, the dessert table was still very pretty I thought.

Ahhh finally!! I’m SO excited to show you all our little girl’s nursery reveal today! I think this has to be one of my most favorite rooms I’ve completed to date. As you might remember, I decided to go a whole other direction in this room a while back. I finally had a clear vision of the perfect smokey grey paint, paired with soft pale pinks, whites, and touches of gold throughout. And that’s exactly what the end result came to be.
Oh man I still can’t believe I have a post titled that. Really? Me? A vegetable garden? And it’s thriving? Well it’s true. It’s always been a dream (one of those dreams you think will never happen) of mine to grow some of my own fruits and veggies. Since the weight loss, I still eat tons of vegetables and fruit, and if you follow me on Instagram (@decorchick1) you know I am part of an organic co-op where I get an awesome variety of fruits and veggies every 2 weeks…
Ellie has gotten so big and changed so much over this last month. Still can’t believe she’s almost 1. She’s still the sweetest little thing, is super sensitive like her mama, and is just overall a great baby. I promise if I had complaints I’d say them so you all don’t think I have the most perfect baby that ever lived or something, but seriously, she’s just an easy going girl. Of course I’ll have days where I am ready to pass her off to Daddy right when he walks in the door and days when I just need to be alone kid-free. So I am normal, I promise. Anyway, I love this picture of her.
Happy Friday friends! What an AWESOME giveaway I have for you all today. I have wanted a paint sprayer for FOREVER now, and I’m so excited I have one now thanks to Graco! I haven’t been able to put her to use yet but I will soon don’t you worry. I can think of 2 projects that a sprayer would be perfect for so yay! Our patio furniture has seen better days I’ll be quite frank. Heck you’ve seen my disaster of a closet, so why not show you other filth right? It’s the least I can do. I actually do enjoy cleaning when I have the time, which is rare. We go outside on the patio all the time, but kind of just “ignore” the nasty. Why we do that to ourselves I have no clue. Case in point, our coffee table out there.
