There’s a new addition to our backyard and it’s pretty fabulous. Like, it’s kind of a home decor accent for the outdoors (because it looks that good), but on a much larger scale than what I’d buy for something to go inside the house! In fact, it’s pretty huge. Hi guys hope you had a good weekend! The weather in Texas was gorgeous!! I was able to finally snap some pictures of our new master bathroom, and the coral painted vanity! I just love it!! The pop of color in there is so fun, and not overwhelming since I went neutral with the grey paint on the walls. Now come say hello to Coral Beauty.
You all know Robert and Cortney Novogratz’s show on HGTV right? I love it! They are just adorable and have a huge family with some cute kids! Their design style is bold and colorful, with modern and vintage elements to create that perfect space. They are very unpredictable which is also so fun!
You know the kind I’m talking about. Those rooms in your home that just never quite get the royal treatment they deserve and we keep them isolated from everything else. Why do we do that to ourselves? What causes our brain to just set aside that mess (or disaster zone) and just live with it? Why are we so careful about the other rooms in our home making sure they are always picked up and presentable? Case in point, our master bedroom closet. Why have I lived with it like this for 4 or 5 years, hating every second of it, but yet, have still done nothing about it?

I’m slowly but surely getting rid of the beige walls that are everywhere in our home, and I’ve pretty much succeeded in several of the rooms! I guess the only beige rooms left now are the bathrooms, and the upstairs hallway/catwalk. I haven’t done anything to our bathrooms until recently, and I finally painted ours!
How many of you love to travel? I kind of love to and kind of loathe it. I’m such a homebody that leaving home stresses me out. I LOVE being home. But then there are times, like when we went to Hawaii, where I get really excited about traveling. I guess it just depends on the destination eh? Oh man I can’t wait to go back to Maui I think about it every day. Ahhhh. Oh yea, back to traveling. And style. Okay okay, really a site-lift, but facelift sounded more fun. I’m SO thrilled with it I can’t stand it! It was about 2 years overdue, but hey, at least it’s done now and the vision came to life. I still love my old design too because it reminds me of how this blogging thing all started and where it’s taken me, but I am also excited for the future and what’s to come.
