An Update on the Pantry Carousels

Remember the pantry carousels we all know and love?

[pinit]

Well I am still getting TONS of emails daily about them and questions about when my Dad will be able to make and sell them again. I had updated the original post to say that they are on hold indefinitely right now because he is too busy, but you all still want to know when they will be available again.  And I don’t blame you because they are awesome, but the sad news is that he is still unable to make them.  Work has been extremely busy, and as you can imagine, the carousels are pretty labor intensive, and getting an order ready to ship out is just as intense.  When and if things do calm down with his work, I will definitely let everyone know in a blog post.

So I am very sorry if I have not responded to your email if you sent me a pantry inquiry.  I wasn’t trying to ignore anyone or anything, it’s just hard to keep up with all of the email requests.

And believe me, if they were easy enough to make to where we could post up a tutorial on how to make them, I would. But it’s not that easy and my Dad has already explained why in a different post. Just take my word for it. :)

So maybe one day I’ll be back with a post singing a different tune.  I wish I could say I know of another product that is equally as good and well made, but I can’t. These really are top notch and nothing compares to them.  Ok, anyway, maybe one day again soon. :)

xxoo,

Could you use Ikea lazy susans as a starting point for the carousels? Just a suggestion. I don’t have corners in my pantry like that, so it wouldn’t work for me anyway.

You could use those so you could have the same concept, but they aren’t as good of course.

I use the Ikea carousels in my kitchen pantry. They are 15″ and work great in the corners of my 11 1/2″ shelves. I also use the small plastic 10 1/2″ carousels (from Target and Walmart) on the shelves to group smaller items within a category such as Asian, Mexican, canned fruit, etc. The small ones come in single and double levels.

I love my lazy suzan. It allows us to store so much more in our kitchen they we normally would be able to in our kitchen. I don’t know how people can live without theirs.

I sure hope you’re dad resume making them. I have a pantry just like yours even though I’m in an apartment, and I’d LOVE to have the pantry carousels. I’ll keep looking for that special update. Just discovered your blog and I’m sure I’ll find other good posts here.

It was my first time going with Randy to one of hi It was my first time going with Randy to one of his gigs. This wasn’t just any gig though. It was a very special wedding for a beautiful couple.❤️

And after witnessing firsthand what all he does for events like this, I have a new appreciation for what he does because it is a LOT.🤯

From loading in setting up three PA systems in 3 separate areas, then immediately switching gears to performance mode and playing ceremony music + sax, dinner music + MC’ing, then reception DJ’ing + sax. It was really pretty freaking mind-blowing to be honest. And then you have to tear it all down! Talk about a full day (I felt hungover the next day and I don’t even drink), but if you are in the entertainment business you get it. And he does this multiple times a month!

So many moving parts, and being flexible when you need to switch gears at the last minute, and he handles it with so much ease. That’s why he’s the professional at his craft.🫶

I was just there more as his emotional support person, but would love to do more events with him where I’m actually useful. 🤪Maybe I’ll learn to wrap up cords the right way one day to his liking, but that’s doubtful. 🤣

It was the perfect new year’s day and can’t wait to do it again!❤️

Congrats @claudine.said and @chefaustinsimmons it was a JOY witnessing your special day.

3 years without Daddy and Pawpaw💔 Does life mo 3 years without Daddy and Pawpaw💔

Does life move on?

Yes, but not without a hazy fog lingering over you that never fully lifts.

Not without the deep ache in your heart longing for more time.

Not without reaching for your phone wanting to call or text.

Not without the family gatherings knowing someone is missing, even though no one mentions it.

Not without crying when you think of him or look at old photos.

I still cannot talk about him without tearing up. Certain songs or sayings break me.

After losing a parent, everything looks different. Time with your family begins to feel more intentional, because you want the moments to last.

The hustle feels less important, because you realize your people matter more than any dollar amount.

Grief and gratitude can coexist. It’s okay to be sad, and it’s okay to be thankful for a dad who is worth missing.❤️
