Valentine Link Party!

Hey everyone are y’all ready to party?  I love Valentine’s Day and love decorating for it.  If you haven’t seen my Valentine’s decorations for this year yet, they were…

The Valentine Yarn Wreath

and the Valentine’s Day Mantel.

I heart them both. :)

Now I can’t wait to see what YOU have done for the love holiday!   Anything Valentine’s Day related is welcome.

I’d love it if you would link back to me with a text link or use this pretty little button so all of your friends know where you are partying. Remember I’ll be pinning some of my favorites, hint hint. :)

Now let’s see what you got!  Mingle around and visit a few other links if you have time too! :)

In today’s world you can now have fully prepared gourmet meals with delivery service
right to your door. If you are someone who gets your food home delivered, you cause double pollution when the delivery guy makes many stops
to deliver his products to other houses close to you as
well. You wouldn’t have to worry about keeping
a diary of your meals because everything is taken care of
to ensure that you are eating low calorie meals every single day.

It was my first time going with Randy to one of hi It was my first time going with Randy to one of his gigs. This wasn’t just any gig though. It was a very special wedding for a beautiful couple.❤️

And after witnessing firsthand what all he does for events like this, I have a new appreciation for what he does because it is a LOT.🤯

From loading in setting up three PA systems in 3 separate areas, then immediately switching gears to performance mode and playing ceremony music + sax, dinner music + MC’ing, then reception DJ’ing + sax. It was really pretty freaking mind-blowing to be honest. And then you have to tear it all down! Talk about a full day (I felt hungover the next day and I don’t even drink), but if you are in the entertainment business you get it. And he does this multiple times a month!

So many moving parts, and being flexible when you need to switch gears at the last minute, and he handles it with so much ease. That’s why he’s the professional at his craft.🫶

I was just there more as his emotional support person, but would love to do more events with him where I’m actually useful. 🤪Maybe I’ll learn to wrap up cords the right way one day to his liking, but that’s doubtful. 🤣

It was the perfect new year’s day and can’t wait to do it again!❤️

Congrats @claudine.said and @chefaustinsimmons it was a JOY witnessing your special day.

3 years without Daddy and Pawpaw💔 Does life mo 3 years without Daddy and Pawpaw💔

Does life move on?

Yes, but not without a hazy fog lingering over you that never fully lifts.

Not without the deep ache in your heart longing for more time.

Not without reaching for your phone wanting to call or text.

Not without the family gatherings knowing someone is missing, even though no one mentions it.

Not without crying when you think of him or look at old photos.

I still cannot talk about him without tearing up. Certain songs or sayings break me.

After losing a parent, everything looks different. Time with your family begins to feel more intentional, because you want the moments to last.

The hustle feels less important, because you realize your people matter more than any dollar amount.

Grief and gratitude can coexist. It’s okay to be sad, and it’s okay to be thankful for a dad who is worth missing.❤️
