One of the things about blogging is that you always are discovering new companies and shops, and of course blogs! I think it’s a great thing to get out there and support the hand-made shops especially, because those items are made with love, and most likely from a person just like you and me. And we all need support right? :) When Stephanie from Ooh Baby Designs contacted me about a giveaway, I took a look at her Etsy shop and fell IN LOVE! I couldn’t believe I haven’t run into her before while browsing around.
White Room Challenge Makeover Reveal | La-Z-Boy Giveaway
Today’s the day friends! I’m super excited to reveal the white room challenge that I participated in a few weeks ago with La-Z-Boy! You know, the empty room with the beautiful coral sofa in it. You all seemed to love the coral sofa too in my novel of a post, so I was happy about that. And sorry I had to leave you hanging, but I gotta do what I gotta do. :) Anywho, here is the final room, and please vote for me here on LZB’s facebook page!
The Best Leggings Ever and Finds of the Week
I love showing you all things I have found recently that are worthy to be written about. Case in point, the best leggings ever. After all, it is legging and oversized shirt season right? Good leggings are hard to find because a lot of them are see through and will show your lumps and bumps (a/k/a cellulite, a/k/a the worst genetic inheritance ever), but these do a great job at covering it all up and smoothing you out (for the most part) and are just flattering, which is hard to say about leggings.
The Day I Designed A Coral Sofa
Howdy friends! Man, I needed a week or so to get back to normal, and to process my few days spent in North Carolina for the La-Z-Boy Design Dash event where I designed a coral sofa! My oh my it was a jam-packed, super fun, and amazing event. If you follow me on Instagram you have probably seen all of the excitement that went on. I have never experienced anything like it but it was incredible.
Time For a New Breakfast Table
Let me tell you a little bit about how I operate as a person, in life, in general. When I get my mind set on something, I make it happen. Usually. Lots of times I wake up feeling totally inspired to repaint a room or use my miter saw. And it has to be done that day. Or at least started. Then lots of other times I won’t do anything major for a month or 2. I go in spurts. I write my posts the night before because I’m inspired to do them at that time. I’m not much of a scheduler.
