We have a few issues around here. Storage. We aren’t really lacking it either because I’m always trying to create it. But I am always looking for pieces of furniture that will make good storage pieces. Why? Well because I thought having TONS of storage would be a good thing. But too much storage I have found out causes 2 frustrated adults searching for things they don’t remember where they put them.

Little did you all know I have been working on a bathroom makeover over here! I’ve had a lot of things going on actually. And on overload. But that’s a good thing right? Well anyway, I don’t think I’ve ever even shown you all this bathroom. It’s the powder bathroom (that is by the mudroom) that was still under the curse of builder beige.
Anyway, I am going to show you a sneak peek of the bathroom makeover now, and on Monday you will see this room in it’s entirety with plenty of before and afters and I’m so excited about it!

Part of the goal for 2014 is to be sure and update you all on projects and other random things I have talked about here. I just want to be better at that. And one of the many questions I receive weekly is how I am liking the LG Wave HE Top loader machine!
We’ve accumulated a few pieces of IKEA’s furniture pieces as of late, and I needed the matching paint for it so I can do a few customizations to these pieces. A few secret projects up my sleeve. Don’t you hate that? Anyway, I decided to do the hard work for you and take a piece of the furniture into Sherwin Williams so they can color match it up. You’re welcome.
Hi guys! Hope you had a great weekend. You all seemed to really like our new cowhide rug layered on top of our big area rug in the living room, so I wanted to gather a few more images of this look from around the web. I think it’s such a great idea because it can save you money by not having to buy another huge area rug, but instead just change up the look by buying a smaller rug to place on top and hide that messy stain. ;) And of course because it’s pretty!
