Southern Living Style Book Giveaway! {2 Winners}

I have been SO excited about this giveaway!!  I recently received Southern Living Style, a new home decor book to review, and I am so in love with it.

I love the Southern Living magazines of course, but I also love having nice coffee table books, and in our case, an ottoman book. :)

Their new book is ALL things home decor and design. Ahhh Heaven.

What I love most about the book is that after all of the different looks or room transformations are listed, they then give you the tips and tools necessary to recreate the look.  And budget friendly, to top it off!

What I also love is that they are all about repurposing old pieces of furniture and giving them new life again (they are speaking our language right?!).

Also, top Southern designers are throughout the book and offer helpful tips for your design dilemmas too.

I could go on and on and list so many more pretty pictures but I have to stop. :) The ideas in this book are wonderful and you know I am always honest with y’all.  I just think it’s awesome that these are real rooms and ideas, and not just “fairy tale” or “maybe in my dream house” kind of rooms and ideas. I was really inspired by this book and I know you will be too.  And I promise you that any Southern Living fan or non-fan will LOVE this book and it would make a great gift!

    I would love this book! I am an avid collector of decorating inspiration, in the form of magazines and books. I love the item-by-item “how to get the look” features, and ESPECIALLY before-and-afters, two things that this book is rich in! And I am a big fan of the revived-traditional style that Southern Living is great at!

    Southern Living is one of my favorite magazines. I’d love to have this book for several reasons.

    1. It’s full of gorgeous pictures and I love studying photos of beautiful rooms.

    2. It’s filled with decor that’s my style… not a bunch of far fetched decorating ideas, but stuff I can actually recreate and tips on how to do it.

    3. It would look great on my newly refinished coffee table! LOL

    I love a good before and after and especially with thrifted items. I’d love a copy of this book. (We are ottoman people too. No coffee table. Instead we have two square leather ottomans; sort of his & heres. mine has a tray that holds books and magazines.)

We are building a new home in Alabama (we are currently in Calif.), and I have to mix my eclectic southern charm taste with my mom’s brass, glass and crystal taste…talk about a challenge!     I need this book! Just the few inside shots you posted are fabulous! I’ve been in a rental for 6 months and still haven’t a clue how to decorate with all white walls and neutral carpets…..and on a budget! ; ( I would LOVE to have this book!

    I am so style-deficient and I don’t know how to create the looks I want in my home. I’ve been in need of a style guide-dog because I am completely color/texture/design/coordinating/blending/cohesiveness, etc BLIND. But what I saw in this magazine so far, the tips, the step throughs, the ideas for every room, it’s exactly like a style guide-dog! Plus I love that it includes ways to re-purpose furniture and I just love the look of the magazine – it’s what I imagine my home would look like. If it weren’t my home.

    I have been a faithful Southern Living magazine reader for about as long as I can remember (decades.) I own one of their cookbooks and it’s one of my all time favorites. A couple years ago, my husband lost his job and we downsized and moved to a small duplex for a couple years. This summer we moved to a real home and I need all the help I can get. Also, this book would look great setting on my coffee table.

    The page title “Pulling it all Together” caught my eye right away. :) Sometimes I struggle with that part of the process in my rooms. Of course the painted dresser had me at hello because I think I have a problem painting everything I find. The hubby is worried he’s next. ;)
