Things I Love…Lisa Leonard

I am sure you all have heard of Lisa Leonard before and seen her stunning creations.  I am so blessed to have her as a sponsor here on my site.  She is sooooo sweet.  We haven’t met in person yet, but I hope we do soon!

Lisa is so generous and even sent me a necklace!!

I just love it and was extremely giddy when it came in the mail!  This necklace is the sweet and simple birdie necklace. Isn’t it, well, so sweet?!  Thank you Lisa, you rock!

Take a look at a few of my other favorite things from Lisa…

The dewdrops necklace.

I must have that one!

The from up here necklace…

Ahhh love it!

And beautiful inspirational and family pieces as well.  This is the together necklace.

I just love the sweet phrase.  Simple and so meaningful.

So have you checked out Lisa Leonard yet??  She has TONS of other awesome things on her site so please go and look around.  :)

Also, Lisa has a blog that is oh so awesome.  It’s full of lovely inspiration and she has such a beautiful family.  She takes AMAZING photos too. :)  She is definitely a daily read of mine.

So, thank you Lisa for having faith in me and my blog, and thank you for creating such gorgeous jewelry that we will all treasure and hold near to our hearts.  I truly am grateful. :)

xxoo,

Decorchick!

I love her stuff, too – I bought the family tree necklace as a present to myself for Mother’s Day and got the pearl earrings for free as a promotion. LOVE the combo of necklace and earrings – it is one of my favorites and people remark on it every time I wear it. next on my list is that from up Here necklace with the aqua stone necklace. (:

2 labradoodle puppies were NOT on my 2026 vision board, but here we are.🥰

How could you NOT with these gorgeous colorings?! A red and blue Merle are so unique, and they are the sweetest!🐶🐶

It was my first time going with Randy to one of hi It was my first time going with Randy to one of his gigs. This wasn’t just any gig though. It was a very special wedding for a beautiful couple.❤️

And after witnessing firsthand what all he does for events like this, I have a new appreciation for what he does because it is a LOT.🤯

From loading in setting up three PA systems in 3 separate areas, then immediately switching gears to performance mode and playing ceremony music + sax, dinner music + MC’ing, then reception DJ’ing + sax. It was really pretty freaking mind-blowing to be honest. And then you have to tear it all down! Talk about a full day (I felt hungover the next day and I don’t even drink), but if you are in the entertainment business you get it. And he does this multiple times a month!

So many moving parts, and being flexible when you need to switch gears at the last minute, and he handles it with so much ease. That’s why he’s the professional at his craft.🫶

I was just there more as his emotional support person, but would love to do more events with him where I’m actually useful. 🤪Maybe I’ll learn to wrap up cords the right way one day to his liking, but that’s doubtful. 🤣

It was the perfect new year’s day and can’t wait to do it again!❤️

Congrats @claudine.said and @chefaustinsimmons it was a JOY witnessing your special day.

3 years without Daddy and Pawpaw💔 Does life mo 3 years without Daddy and Pawpaw💔

Does life move on?

Yes, but not without a hazy fog lingering over you that never fully lifts.

Not without the deep ache in your heart longing for more time.

Not without reaching for your phone wanting to call or text.

Not without the family gatherings knowing someone is missing, even though no one mentions it.

Not without crying when you think of him or look at old photos.

I still cannot talk about him without tearing up. Certain songs or sayings break me.

After losing a parent, everything looks different. Time with your family begins to feel more intentional, because you want the moments to last.

The hustle feels less important, because you realize your people matter more than any dollar amount.

Grief and gratitude can coexist. It’s okay to be sad, and it’s okay to be thankful for a dad who is worth missing.❤️
