There’s a New Book in Town…

An e-book that is!  Altar’d has done it again and just released their second e-book “Decorative Finishes for Furniture.”

It will teach you how to use metallic paints, silver leaf, chalkboard paint, stencils and much more, and all on your furniture!  How fabulous.  I know I have a lot of questions when I see all of those pretty pieces of furniture people redo, and have no clue where to begin.  Well, this e-book covers it all and includes what products Mandie uses, the colors, and of course the how-to’s on how to achieve the fabulous results we all desire. :)

Here is just a little snippet of a look this book teaches you how to do…

I SO wish I had that piece of furniture!  And you will be surprised at how easy it is to get this look.

I’ve read the book and it’s 110 pages full of great information, along with beautiful pictures and easy to follow instructions.

So for just $10 you can download their new ebook and start creating some really beautiful custom furniture.  :)

You can click the button below to order your copy and you will have it in just a few short minutes.

If for some reason you can’t view the button, you can also click here to order.  If you still haven’t ordered their first e-book on how to paint furniture, which I highly recommend, you also have the option to buy that one when you click that button or link.

Have fun friends and happy reading!  :)

xxoo,

2 labradoodle puppies were NOT on my 2026 vision board, but here we are.🥰

How could you NOT with these gorgeous colorings?! A red and blue Merle are so unique, and they are the sweetest!🐶🐶

It was my first time going with Randy to one of hi It was my first time going with Randy to one of his gigs. This wasn’t just any gig though. It was a very special wedding for a beautiful couple.❤️

And after witnessing firsthand what all he does for events like this, I have a new appreciation for what he does because it is a LOT.🤯

From loading in setting up three PA systems in 3 separate areas, then immediately switching gears to performance mode and playing ceremony music + sax, dinner music + MC’ing, then reception DJ’ing + sax. It was really pretty freaking mind-blowing to be honest. And then you have to tear it all down! Talk about a full day (I felt hungover the next day and I don’t even drink), but if you are in the entertainment business you get it. And he does this multiple times a month!

So many moving parts, and being flexible when you need to switch gears at the last minute, and he handles it with so much ease. That’s why he’s the professional at his craft.🫶

I was just there more as his emotional support person, but would love to do more events with him where I’m actually useful. 🤪Maybe I’ll learn to wrap up cords the right way one day to his liking, but that’s doubtful. 🤣

It was the perfect new year’s day and can’t wait to do it again!❤️

Congrats @claudine.said and @chefaustinsimmons it was a JOY witnessing your special day.

3 years without Daddy and Pawpaw💔 Does life mo 3 years without Daddy and Pawpaw💔

Does life move on?

Yes, but not without a hazy fog lingering over you that never fully lifts.

Not without the deep ache in your heart longing for more time.

Not without reaching for your phone wanting to call or text.

Not without the family gatherings knowing someone is missing, even though no one mentions it.

Not without crying when you think of him or look at old photos.

I still cannot talk about him without tearing up. Certain songs or sayings break me.

After losing a parent, everything looks different. Time with your family begins to feel more intentional, because you want the moments to last.

The hustle feels less important, because you realize your people matter more than any dollar amount.

Grief and gratitude can coexist. It’s okay to be sad, and it’s okay to be thankful for a dad who is worth missing.❤️
