Woohoo it’s Friday! I have a fun barn door hardware giveaway to share with you all today from Rolling Door Designs.

Rolling Door Designs offers beautiful hardware for those treasured barn doors you might find or pick up on the side of the road! Or just any door that you would like to turn into a rolling door. Barn doors used as decor is still ever so popular, so why not make the look even more stylish with some fab hardware!

We all can find doors on the side of the road, or thrift stores, or Habitat, but the tricky part is the hardware. But Rolling Door Designs makes it easy for you and offers many different styles of hardware and finishes. They even have hardware kits for single doors and double doors.

Hardware Kits

You can choose from bronze, black, red, and satin nickel finishes for your hardware.

All of the installation details and instructions can be found here so you can see how it works. From what I’ve heard assembly and install is very easy.

So cool right? I am still trying to think of the perfect spot to put a rolling door in our home but I really do love the look and style. And guess what?     okay…..so i’m having a hard time sitting down while i write this because is am SO excited! i have loved barn doors LONG before they were “the thing” to have. and i had explored the very mundane hardware which didn’t thrill me all that much, the cost of the whole clunky look thing, the relative little choice in hardware….like only one….or making my own….which was….eh… BUT THIS….the les miz black hardware, spoke my name. called to me. sigh. love it. love that there is a choice out there and some day….oh, so soon someday…..i can have my own. the dream could happen a lot quicker if i won; BUT i thrill that someone will have their own barn door if they win. thank you and thank the rolling door design folks for such a generous giveaway. wow. wow twice. i also pinterested this because THE most popular pin on my whole entire board is the barn door pin. so there may be plenty of thrilled and excited people who will know that they don’t have to have clunky same-old hardware on their barn door.

    Love the Les Mis in bronze! Where was the company when I needed them?!?!?!? I hung a chalkboard next to my desk on the wall and really wanted to use the rolling barn door hardware. I searched high and low at antique shops but just had no luck on the matter. I also knew it would probably be cost prohibitive, but I couldn’t find any to know for sure. Instead, I used a closet door kit and utilized the rails and roller at the top of the chalkboard. Not as cool as the barn door hardware, but it works. LOVD tidings, Lilly

I found out the pocket door will not work because of electrical outlets on either side of the door opening. There is a sort of sitting area off the the master bedroom, and I think I will be converting it into a walk-in closet, since the master closet is SO small. My Mom is has her living room set up in the family room and her television is so loud that we can barely hear ours in the living room!!! A regular door wouldnt work because there are two steps down into the room and the swing would not be safe. A barn door would solve both the problems!
