A Prize, In a Candle!

Yes, you read that right. A prize in a candle, otherwise known as Prize Candle! I have never heard of prizes that come by way of candle, but what a fun treat! Want to see what came in mine?

So pretty! No, it’s not real, but still a fun piece to wear.

So this is the candle I received…

Gotta love that hot pink packaging. I swear, it gets me every time!

But Prize Candle is selling high-end soy candles with one big sparkly surprise. Each candle has rings inside each valued anywhere from $10-$5,000! Now keep in mind, I haven’t used candles in a long time since I use my Young Living diffuser and oils now, so burning a candle was pretty strong to me. It’s so crazy how your body changes! It does smell good though for a candle, and I had the Jasmine Neroli. :)

So first you burn your candle. I had mine burning at least 3 hours before I saw anything inside.

Then I took a fork and started digging it out. Be careful when you do this!

So that was the prize I dug out…

I was excited to open it and find this pretty green ring! It’s really pretty when the light shines on it.

Then after you get your prize, there is a little piece of paper with a code inside it, and then you go to prizecandle.com to see what it appraises at.

Mine was worth $25 so I thought that was great!

These are some of the past rings in their candles and they are all pretty! Like, I’d actually wear them.

If you want to try out a candle you can order them here. Have you ever heard of this before? It was news to me! But what a fun surprise! Especially if you get a ring appraised at $5,000!

I had a special price with the Prize Candle- buy one and get one free. They are 9 oz- Crème Brule and Autumn scents. The price is too much for a 9 oz candle when the other candle companies with prize inside them(jewelry or money) are 16 oz which gives out more scent to a room. The Prize Candle just scent a small bedroom, bathroom, kitchen area, or small living room. The rings I won was priced at $10 a piece, however, they are good quality and I can give them to family members who love wearing custom jewelry.
I will not be ordering another Prize Candle because it is not worth the price of todays economy.

I ordered the Hidden Treasure Candle which cost $24 and received $8 off and it is 16 oz. The HTC candle has a specific candles that offered rings and a specific selection of candles that offer bracelets, ear-rings, and necklace which is Surprise Me.
I ordered the specific candle of surprise me in Warm Autumn and I received a .925 sterling silver heart bracelet. The price was not inside the package, however, it is a very sturdy bracelet with double chain on both sides of the heart.
I am very please with HTC because I received 16 oz instead of the Prize Candle which comes in 9 oz. The HTC has a glass top which can put out the flame, it scents a large room, last very long

2 months later, and it’s still hard. So very har 2 months later, and it’s still hard. So very hard. It is the strangest, most emptiest feeling one could have, and one that not everyone understands.

Tonight was the 3rd griefshare meeting that I’ve attended, and that does help to be around others who have lost someone close. But it is also so painful hearing their stories. And it’s a night during the week that I’m forced to think about how he’s no longer here. It’s helped me to realize all of the thoughts and actions we have are normal, and the things we do that are odd to others, are actually part of the process.

I haven’t been able to wear these shirts of his yet (he wore them every single day. The red one was his “fancy” one), but I’m glad I have them. It’s just really crappy I can’t see him in them any longer. 💔

This is a pain like no other. I watched him take This is a pain like no other.

I watched him take his final breath at 7:24 this morning. The scent of him is still so palpable.

Gone too soon, and years stolen from his wife and grandkids.

We live in the same small neighborhood, right around the corner on the next street. Now the girls can’t ride their 4-wheelers to go see him. We can’t just swing by to pick him up. He can’t go on our walks anymore. There are lots of no-longers, and it is crushing my heart.

Who am I going to call now when I have a question on how to fix something? He had a solution for everything usually saving us hundreds of dollars. Everything was fixable to him, rather than hiring someone. And often he would find the answer on YouTube.

Who am I going to text with when the Astros make a good or bad play during the next World Series?

I want to hear his voice again. I want to go over and cut his hair again. I want to make him another pie for his birthday and Father’s Day.

It hurts so much.

I love you Daddy.
