Top 5 Colors For Fall

When I posted our Fall mantel the other day, I mentioned how I always tend to use the reds and oranges in my Fall decorating, but also that I love so many other colors and combinations as well.  So I thought it would be fun to compile a list of my top 5 colors and combos that you can use to decorate your home for Fall.

1. Metallics

I am really loving anything metallic these days, and I love those spray painted pumpkins!

2. Cool Blues

Blues are always pretty and soothing, and it’s a nice change from the traditional Fall colors.

3. Neutrals

Source: housebeautiful.com via Colleen on Pinterest

Neutrals are always soothing as well, and I love the colors in this living room.  There’s just enough color to it without being overpowering. And, it just looks like Fall in there! :)

4. White

I love the look of the all white decor.  I’ve never done it yet, but it doesn’t mean I don’t love. :)

5. Reds, Oranges, and Browns (my fav!)

You just can’t go wrong with the classic colors.  They are so scrumptious and I can’t get enough of them.

So what’s your favorite? Metallics, Blues, Neutrals, Whites or more traditional colors?  I love them all but my heart says traditional. :)

xxoo,

I’m really liking the metallics! I love anything shiny! You’re right though, you can’t go wrong with the classic colors.

I love cool blues, but they just don’t say “fall” to me…I’m with you, more traditional!

I like the traditional colors but I think I’ll be using blues and whites this year to keep with the decor of my home.

I am all about the metallics and neutrals with just a touch of the traditional fall colors. How’s that for a simple answer?? ;-)
I’ve spent so much time and effort this past year to lighten and brighten my decor, I just couldn’t go too traditional.

It’s a time for the rich, earthy colors. I’ve never thought of whites. Turqoise is good to match the sky and I love to use purples and russets. Yellows are good…for the sunflowers.

I always tend to use the neutrals and the reds & oranges! But the bringing out the blues are so beautiful!! I might have to keep that in mind.

2 labradoodle puppies were NOT on my 2026 vision board, but here we are.🥰

How could you NOT with these gorgeous colorings?! A red and blue Merle are so unique, and they are the sweetest!🐶🐶

It was my first time going with Randy to one of hi It was my first time going with Randy to one of his gigs. This wasn’t just any gig though. It was a very special wedding for a beautiful couple.❤️

And after witnessing firsthand what all he does for events like this, I have a new appreciation for what he does because it is a LOT.🤯

From loading in setting up three PA systems in 3 separate areas, then immediately switching gears to performance mode and playing ceremony music + sax, dinner music + MC’ing, then reception DJ’ing + sax. It was really pretty freaking mind-blowing to be honest. And then you have to tear it all down! Talk about a full day (I felt hungover the next day and I don’t even drink), but if you are in the entertainment business you get it. And he does this multiple times a month!

So many moving parts, and being flexible when you need to switch gears at the last minute, and he handles it with so much ease. That’s why he’s the professional at his craft.🫶

I was just there more as his emotional support person, but would love to do more events with him where I’m actually useful. 🤪Maybe I’ll learn to wrap up cords the right way one day to his liking, but that’s doubtful. 🤣

It was the perfect new year’s day and can’t wait to do it again!❤️

Congrats @claudine.said and @chefaustinsimmons it was a JOY witnessing your special day.

3 years without Daddy and Pawpaw💔 Does life mo 3 years without Daddy and Pawpaw💔

Does life move on?

Yes, but not without a hazy fog lingering over you that never fully lifts.

Not without the deep ache in your heart longing for more time.

Not without reaching for your phone wanting to call or text.

Not without the family gatherings knowing someone is missing, even though no one mentions it.

Not without crying when you think of him or look at old photos.

I still cannot talk about him without tearing up. Certain songs or sayings break me.

After losing a parent, everything looks different. Time with your family begins to feel more intentional, because you want the moments to last.

The hustle feels less important, because you realize your people matter more than any dollar amount.

Grief and gratitude can coexist. It’s okay to be sad, and it’s okay to be thankful for a dad who is worth missing.❤️
