Christmas Home Tour

Greetings!  Today I’m going to take you on a little Christmas tour of our home, and this should be the last of the Christmas posts? But I can’t promise that just yet. :)

Knock knock, anybody home?  Yes, come on in!

To the right we have the staircase…

And to the left of the entry we have the office.

I didn’t do much holiday decorating in there, just changed out a few cloches in the hutch.

Here is the staircase wall standing in the office.

I know my swag on the garland is a little wimpy.  Next year I’ll have to get longer garland and double it up.

And then we make it into the living room.  I don’t think y’all have ever seen the full living room?  By the way, all of these pictures were taken at night.  All the lights are prettier at night right? :)

We rearranged this room a tad when we put the tree up, and we love how the furniture is now so I think it will be staying like this.

The wall with the shelves and big art picture is a huge 2-story wall…

Just in case you thought they were hung too high. :)  I didn’t do much on the shelves either except add a few sprays of greenery.

Here are the big windows in the living room that are dying for some window treatments.

Yea, they are big, hence the reason they are still naked.

And you all know we have a toddler, and yes, we DO have toys in here.

They are just nicely crammed in the back right corner behind the chair.  It’s a nice little play area actually!

Which then connects to the kitchen.  I do love our kitchen. :)

The only things I did in there was add some festive decor on the bar.  Other than that, not much else was needed since we have a very open floor plan.  And I didn’t even bother cleaning up the sink area or pushing the little girl and dog out of the picture. ;)

And lastly, a view towards the front door seeing more Christmas goodness.

And that’s about it!  I was too lazy to clean up our master bedroom for pictures, but it’s to the left of the living room, and there is a tree in there. :)

    I am so glad that you took all your photos at night. I know that you can’t see as well but it sure looks pretty all lit up.

    You house looks a lot like our home in Cincy. What model is it?

    Emily, Your home looks beautiful! I especially love your mantle. We too have to rearrange our furniture in order for the tree to fit. It’s a nice change, but I am usually ready for it to go back the way it was after the holidays are over.

    Oh LOVE it all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Your home is gorgeous. I’m renting at the moment because my husband’s job moved us so quickly and I didn’t think it would be this hard to be in a rental over the Holidays…but this blue carpet and ugly track lighting is just not working for me LOL

    Beautiful! I love that it’s so airy and open. Good luck with those windows! I would be paralyzed with indecision about that one… Can’t wait to see what you come up with. It will be brilliant, I’m sure.

    Visiting from UTTD…..you have a beautiful home! Love your style and furnishings, especially the stacked book end table in the LR (always wanted one of those. lol) I have a toddler and 9 mos old myself so I know all about hiding toys. Have a Happy Holiday!
