Awesome Stencils…

from the one and only Cutting Edge Stencils!  They offer an abundance of stencils in different patterns and designs to give your walls or furniture the most custom look, for less.  You can really stencil just about anything, and using a stencil on some plain curtains or pillows would really jazz them up!

Cutting Edge Stencils offers allover wall stencils, for those big areas, and also offers smaller wall art stencils if you just want to add one or a few designs to a certain area.

The stencils are extremely easy to work with and work great.  This is the stencil I chose and they were so kind and sent it to me.

I am in love with that quatrefoil/trellis pattern right now. I am not done with the wall I have used it on, but will show you a little progress on Tuesday. :)

Here are a few more stencils that I love and would be so fun to do in your home.

Aren’t those awesome?  Ohhh the possibilities.  There are tons of more designs on their site.  I had never stenciled before until I received mine, and I really couldn’t believe how easy it is.  Have you ever stenciled before?

Go and take a peek around their site and let your imagination run wild with all of the different things you can do.  Another great thing is how affordable they are!

If you come back on Tuesday, you may even have a chance to win a stencil of your choice. :)

The Silhouette giveaway is still going strong, so don’t forget to enter here.  Also, just a reminder you have until Monday to buy the Silhouette machine at the awesome price of $199 which includes a roll of vinyl, roll of transfer paper, and a home decor cd. Awesome value friends!  Just enter the code DECORCHICK at checkout, and your cart will automatically be deducted and your extra items will be included.  You can purchase it HERE.

See y’all tomorrow. :)

xxoo,

2 labradoodle puppies were NOT on my 2026 vision board, but here we are.🥰

How could you NOT with these gorgeous colorings?! A red and blue Merle are so unique, and they are the sweetest!🐶🐶

It was my first time going with Randy to one of hi It was my first time going with Randy to one of his gigs. This wasn’t just any gig though. It was a very special wedding for a beautiful couple.❤️

And after witnessing firsthand what all he does for events like this, I have a new appreciation for what he does because it is a LOT.🤯

From loading in setting up three PA systems in 3 separate areas, then immediately switching gears to performance mode and playing ceremony music + sax, dinner music + MC’ing, then reception DJ’ing + sax. It was really pretty freaking mind-blowing to be honest. And then you have to tear it all down! Talk about a full day (I felt hungover the next day and I don’t even drink), but if you are in the entertainment business you get it. And he does this multiple times a month!

So many moving parts, and being flexible when you need to switch gears at the last minute, and he handles it with so much ease. That’s why he’s the professional at his craft.🫶

I was just there more as his emotional support person, but would love to do more events with him where I’m actually useful. 🤪Maybe I’ll learn to wrap up cords the right way one day to his liking, but that’s doubtful. 🤣

It was the perfect new year’s day and can’t wait to do it again!❤️

Congrats @claudine.said and @chefaustinsimmons it was a JOY witnessing your special day.

3 years without Daddy and Pawpaw💔 Does life mo 3 years without Daddy and Pawpaw💔

Does life move on?

Yes, but not without a hazy fog lingering over you that never fully lifts.

Not without the deep ache in your heart longing for more time.

Not without reaching for your phone wanting to call or text.

Not without the family gatherings knowing someone is missing, even though no one mentions it.

Not without crying when you think of him or look at old photos.

I still cannot talk about him without tearing up. Certain songs or sayings break me.

After losing a parent, everything looks different. Time with your family begins to feel more intentional, because you want the moments to last.

The hustle feels less important, because you realize your people matter more than any dollar amount.

Grief and gratitude can coexist. It’s okay to be sad, and it’s okay to be thankful for a dad who is worth missing.❤️
