A Virtual Trunk Show!

We all love to shop right? And we all love jewelry, yes?  Well I recently met up with the lovely and talented Megan from the blogs Honey We’re Home and Honey We’re Healthy (yea, she’s a hottie), and as if operating 2 blogs wasn’t enough, she is now a Stella and Dot stylist too!

Don’t know how she has time to do it! But I did a little trunk show here at the house, and I loved it so much that I want to invite you all to come and virtually shop with me because I think you will love it too!

I fell in love with all of the items that she brought.

The pieces are all substantial in weight and they aren’t wimpy pieces by any means. The broccoli is not for sale though, I apologize.

I am particularly fond of this Jolie necklace.

She looks happy so it must be good right? No really though, Megan brought it with her and I loved it! The beads feel very cool too when they are laying on your chest. It also has a very good weight to it. I like me some meaty jewelry. :) There are plenty of dainty things too if that’s what you like.

Here are several other items that caught my eye.

Gorgeous right? There is so much more on their site too. And another great thing is that throughout the month of April, 20% of their retails sales from their Autism Awareness collection will support the HollyRod Foundation.

Megan has done so well with her blogs and now this, so I’d love to show her some more support in any way I can. So since you can’t all be here in person with me, check out the trunk show online and I hope you find a thing (or 2!) that you can’t live without! :) Don’t forget about Mother’s Day too. *wink wink to my hubby*  Oh, and the trunk show will end on April 8.

xxoo,

2 labradoodle puppies were NOT on my 2026 vision board, but here we are.🥰

How could you NOT with these gorgeous colorings?! A red and blue Merle are so unique, and they are the sweetest!🐶🐶

It was my first time going with Randy to one of hi It was my first time going with Randy to one of his gigs. This wasn’t just any gig though. It was a very special wedding for a beautiful couple.❤️

And after witnessing firsthand what all he does for events like this, I have a new appreciation for what he does because it is a LOT.🤯

From loading in setting up three PA systems in 3 separate areas, then immediately switching gears to performance mode and playing ceremony music + sax, dinner music + MC’ing, then reception DJ’ing + sax. It was really pretty freaking mind-blowing to be honest. And then you have to tear it all down! Talk about a full day (I felt hungover the next day and I don’t even drink), but if you are in the entertainment business you get it. And he does this multiple times a month!

So many moving parts, and being flexible when you need to switch gears at the last minute, and he handles it with so much ease. That’s why he’s the professional at his craft.🫶

I was just there more as his emotional support person, but would love to do more events with him where I’m actually useful. 🤪Maybe I’ll learn to wrap up cords the right way one day to his liking, but that’s doubtful. 🤣

It was the perfect new year’s day and can’t wait to do it again!❤️

Congrats @claudine.said and @chefaustinsimmons it was a JOY witnessing your special day.

3 years without Daddy and Pawpaw💔 Does life mo 3 years without Daddy and Pawpaw💔

Does life move on?

Yes, but not without a hazy fog lingering over you that never fully lifts.

Not without the deep ache in your heart longing for more time.

Not without reaching for your phone wanting to call or text.

Not without the family gatherings knowing someone is missing, even though no one mentions it.

Not without crying when you think of him or look at old photos.

I still cannot talk about him without tearing up. Certain songs or sayings break me.

After losing a parent, everything looks different. Time with your family begins to feel more intentional, because you want the moments to last.

The hustle feels less important, because you realize your people matter more than any dollar amount.

Grief and gratitude can coexist. It’s okay to be sad, and it’s okay to be thankful for a dad who is worth missing.❤️
