January Stitch Fix Box!

Oh yes it’s that time again!! Happy Stitch Fix mail time! :) And this month, I think I may have received the best fix so far. I asked for ALL sweaters, nothing else, and thankfully my stylist heard my plea for some cozy sweaters! Now if the weather would actually ummmm, be more winter-like? Oh the joys of living in Texas!

I was thrilled will this fix y’all!

This sweater I think is my favorite, but really it’s hard to choose this time.

Love the colors, and how cozy it is! It’s long, a bit oversized, so it’s great with leggings, and just all around love it! And super warm! I have gotten to wear this once so far when it actually was cold this month. :)

These 2 sweaters have the cute elbow patches, which I’ve grown to love.

This neutral sweater has a super cute zipper detail in the back. I zipped it up some so you could see, but normally I wear it all the way down. But it would be cute to layer something underneath it, then zip it up some so the layer can show through.

This beautiful blue sweater has really nice detailing in the back as well.

The grey cable knit sweater (shown in the first pic) wasn’t my favorite since it’s more fitted (I like my sweaters bigger), and shorter for me. Remember that dang long torso I have!

But I kept ALL items this time and received the discount, and was happy about that! I’ll still wear the grey sweater, just will have to layer a cami underneath it more than likely.

For my February fix, I need ideas on what to request! Y’all help me out. The weather is so crazy lately it’s hard to know what to ask for. Maybe start looking for spring items already??

I love Stitch Fix and know you will too, so if you’ve been wanting to try them out and have clothes delivered straight to your door, do it here! If you don’t like anything you’ll just send it all back in the pre-paid envelope. Easy peasy! If you have been receiving some fixes you don’t just love, request Sherri R. as your stylist for your next fix. She’s amazing!

And don’t forget to always keep your style profile updated and make notes to your stylist!! :)

xxoo,

I love seeing these Stitch fix postings that people do, but can I just say I REALLY love when they show pictures of themselves in the items!

I agree! I did include one with last month’s fix, but it’s just sort of difficult for me to find someone to take the pics. I will try and do better. :)

Love the sweaters! I get my 5th fix next month and requested spring/summer tops. I also live in the Houston area and will more than likely be wearing spring/summer items by then….(winter has been weird…and sad I didn’t get much use of my sweaters I received in my past fix boxes).

I don’t always, but now I will be requesting Sherri R. since I liked this one so much. I had one I liked but she is no longer there. Try requesting Sherri if you haven’t been happy!

Cannot believe you got all those sweaters in a fix. I may need to reinstate my account. I kept getting stuff I didn’t need or like or that would fit a tiny child or the prices were too high. LOVE that cowl neck/heathered sweater!

2 labradoodle puppies were NOT on my 2026 vision board, but here we are.🥰

How could you NOT with these gorgeous colorings?! A red and blue Merle are so unique, and they are the sweetest!🐶🐶

It was my first time going with Randy to one of hi It was my first time going with Randy to one of his gigs. This wasn’t just any gig though. It was a very special wedding for a beautiful couple.❤️

And after witnessing firsthand what all he does for events like this, I have a new appreciation for what he does because it is a LOT.🤯

From loading in setting up three PA systems in 3 separate areas, then immediately switching gears to performance mode and playing ceremony music + sax, dinner music + MC’ing, then reception DJ’ing + sax. It was really pretty freaking mind-blowing to be honest. And then you have to tear it all down! Talk about a full day (I felt hungover the next day and I don’t even drink), but if you are in the entertainment business you get it. And he does this multiple times a month!

So many moving parts, and being flexible when you need to switch gears at the last minute, and he handles it with so much ease. That’s why he’s the professional at his craft.🫶

I was just there more as his emotional support person, but would love to do more events with him where I’m actually useful. 🤪Maybe I’ll learn to wrap up cords the right way one day to his liking, but that’s doubtful. 🤣

It was the perfect new year’s day and can’t wait to do it again!❤️

Congrats @claudine.said and @chefaustinsimmons it was a JOY witnessing your special day.

3 years without Daddy and Pawpaw💔 Does life mo 3 years without Daddy and Pawpaw💔

Does life move on?

Yes, but not without a hazy fog lingering over you that never fully lifts.

Not without the deep ache in your heart longing for more time.

Not without reaching for your phone wanting to call or text.

Not without the family gatherings knowing someone is missing, even though no one mentions it.

Not without crying when you think of him or look at old photos.

I still cannot talk about him without tearing up. Certain songs or sayings break me.

After losing a parent, everything looks different. Time with your family begins to feel more intentional, because you want the moments to last.

The hustle feels less important, because you realize your people matter more than any dollar amount.

Grief and gratitude can coexist. It’s okay to be sad, and it’s okay to be thankful for a dad who is worth missing.❤️
