How To Easily Install Beautiful Wood Beams

Happy Monday everyone I hope you had a wonderful weekend! Today I am thrilled to share with you all how you can easily install those beautiful wood beams that you see everywhere, in your own home! And don’t think wood beams are just for rustic looks because they are not. Sure it can be if that’s the look you are going for, but they can also be added in a modern space, being the perfect compliment to the room.

And guess what else? These are faux wood beams!

Isn’t that room just gorgeous? The wood beams totally make the room.

Can you believe they are faux beams? You would never know if I didn’t tell you.

So here’s how you can install some yourself. And affordably.

There is a company called Arizona Faux Beams who, you guessed it, makes faux beams.

Rustic Wood Beams | www.decorchick.com

Arizona Faux Beams offers Polyurethane beams in a variety of textures and sizes. Once installed, it is nearly impossible to tell the difference between their products and real wood. All of the beams are offered unfinished, with a base coat, or finished in a walnut color.

Here is a bit more information about the product:

  • they are lightweight, making it easy to handle and install
  • they will not dry, split, or crack
  • they are termite resistant
  • they can be painted or stained
  • it is much lighter than most other materials (concrete, stone, wood and fiberglass) allowing you to include or add these products without re- engineering the substructure of your project.
  • they are made from the mold of real wood beams
  • they come in many styles and finishes

My friend Traci used these faux beams in her master bathroom redo, and they are lovely!

This picture shows how you can also paint the beams too to give it the whitewash look.

I love them in this space too.

Arizona Faux Beams will work with you to help create and deliver the ultimate residential or commercial projects you may have. So don’t hesitate to reach out to them! Even though they are famous and have been featured on many shows that air on DIY Network, their customer service is still top notch. :)

So what do you think? Have you ever seen a product so cool before? I would LOVE to get these in our home one day.

Be sure and check out Arizona Faux Beams and tell me what you think!

xxoo,

We have one wood beam in our vaulted ceiling, Living area, it was painted when we moved in, would love these beams to cover it & maybe add more. I really like the aged barn wood look.

Do these molds fit over existing beams or do you need to remove the existing beams?

Styrofoam beams are not a good home enhancement! One of hte first things we ripped out when we moved in! These seem to be a much better alternative.

This is really nice post It’s about how a person feels when he walk through the front door — the way he can instantly envision his life unfolding there. This is about more than just building a home. Thank you keep it up.

I really enjoyed this post. Beams are such a classic design element that works well in modren and traditional homes. I’m so happy to see it coming back. I feel beams can just define a room so well.

2 labradoodle puppies were NOT on my 2026 vision board, but here we are.🥰

It was my first time going with Randy to one of hi It was my first time going with Randy to one of his gigs. This wasn’t just any gig though. It was a very special wedding for a beautiful couple.❤️

And after witnessing firsthand what all he does for events like this, I have a new appreciation for what he does because it is a LOT.🤯

From loading in setting up three PA systems in 3 separate areas, then immediately switching gears to performance mode and playing ceremony music + sax, dinner music + MC’ing, then reception DJ’ing + sax. It was really pretty freaking mind-blowing to be honest. And then you have to tear it all down! Talk about a full day (I felt hungover the next day and I don’t even drink), but if you are in the entertainment business you get it. And he does this multiple times a month!

So many moving parts, and being flexible when you need to switch gears at the last minute, and he handles it with so much ease. That’s why he’s the professional at his craft.🫶

I was just there more as his emotional support person, but would love to do more events with him where I’m actually useful. 🤪Maybe I’ll learn to wrap up cords the right way one day to his liking, but that’s doubtful. 🤣

It was the perfect new year’s day and can’t wait to do it again!❤️

Congrats @claudine.said and @chefaustinsimmons it was a JOY witnessing your special day.

3 years without Daddy and Pawpaw💔 Does life mo 3 years without Daddy and Pawpaw💔

Does life move on?

Yes, but not without a hazy fog lingering over you that never fully lifts.

Not without the deep ache in your heart longing for more time.

Not without reaching for your phone wanting to call or text.

Not without the family gatherings knowing someone is missing, even though no one mentions it.

Not without crying when you think of him or look at old photos.

I still cannot talk about him without tearing up. Certain songs or sayings break me.

After losing a parent, everything looks different. Time with your family begins to feel more intentional, because you want the moments to last.

The hustle feels less important, because you realize your people matter more than any dollar amount.

Grief and gratitude can coexist. It’s okay to be sad, and it’s okay to be thankful for a dad who is worth missing.❤️
