Things I Love…The Vintage Pearl

Well, how many of you have heard of The Vintage Pearl?  A lot of you I imagine. :)  Their jewelry ummm, ROCKS!  It’s an absolute honor to have The Vintage Pearl as a sponsor, and I am so grateful.  Erin is such a sweetheart and is super talented.  Their designs always blow me away, and the quality of their work is outstanding!

I wanted to show off a few of the beautiful pieces that they offer, and show you some things that I own and LOVE.

First up is the Mama Bird necklace.  I have this one and love it.

That one is really special to me and the 4 “eggs” represent my daughter, 2 step-children, and a child that I miscarried a few years ago.  That might be sad to some people, but for me it’s a special reminder of my little one up in Heaven.

I also have the Full Hands Happy Heart necklace which my little one is modeling here…

Awww!!  I love the saying on that necklace too.  So sweet, and so true. :)  Both of those necklaces you can find in their Ready to Ship shop!

Here are some other necklaces that I just love too.  I need to get my hands on them! :)

Aren’t those so lovely??  There are SO many things I could list on this post, but instead I’ll let you go visit The Vintage Pearl for yourself and fall in love too. :)

Erin also has a blog that is full of inspiration so I hope you are following her already.  If not, go follow her…now!  You can also follow The Vintage Pearl on Twitter and be in the know about special promotions and upcoming products!

Do you have anything from the Vintage Pearl?  Tell us about it!

xxoo,

2 labradoodle puppies were NOT on my 2026 vision board, but here we are.🥰

How could you NOT with these gorgeous colorings?! A red and blue Merle are so unique, and they are the sweetest!🐶🐶

It was my first time going with Randy to one of hi It was my first time going with Randy to one of his gigs. This wasn’t just any gig though. It was a very special wedding for a beautiful couple.❤️

And after witnessing firsthand what all he does for events like this, I have a new appreciation for what he does because it is a LOT.🤯

From loading in setting up three PA systems in 3 separate areas, then immediately switching gears to performance mode and playing ceremony music + sax, dinner music + MC’ing, then reception DJ’ing + sax. It was really pretty freaking mind-blowing to be honest. And then you have to tear it all down! Talk about a full day (I felt hungover the next day and I don’t even drink), but if you are in the entertainment business you get it. And he does this multiple times a month!

So many moving parts, and being flexible when you need to switch gears at the last minute, and he handles it with so much ease. That’s why he’s the professional at his craft.🫶

I was just there more as his emotional support person, but would love to do more events with him where I’m actually useful. 🤪Maybe I’ll learn to wrap up cords the right way one day to his liking, but that’s doubtful. 🤣

It was the perfect new year’s day and can’t wait to do it again!❤️

Congrats @claudine.said and @chefaustinsimmons it was a JOY witnessing your special day.

3 years without Daddy and Pawpaw💔 Does life mo 3 years without Daddy and Pawpaw💔

Does life move on?

Yes, but not without a hazy fog lingering over you that never fully lifts.

Not without the deep ache in your heart longing for more time.

Not without reaching for your phone wanting to call or text.

Not without the family gatherings knowing someone is missing, even though no one mentions it.

Not without crying when you think of him or look at old photos.

I still cannot talk about him without tearing up. Certain songs or sayings break me.

After losing a parent, everything looks different. Time with your family begins to feel more intentional, because you want the moments to last.

The hustle feels less important, because you realize your people matter more than any dollar amount.

Grief and gratitude can coexist. It’s okay to be sad, and it’s okay to be thankful for a dad who is worth missing.❤️
