Molding Highlights!

I’ve been having so much fun going through all of the link-ups from the molding party!  Y’all are AMAZING and thank you so much for joining the party!  I loved all of them and wish I could highlight them all.  But since I can’t do that, I encourage everyone to go back to the molding link post and visit some of the awesome projects. :)

Check out what Melissa did to dress up her bathroom.  Amazing!

And Myra did an amazing job transforming their living room with some lovely board and batten.  Love this stuff!

Cleverly Inspired did an awesome redo of their foyer, and now it’s dripping with moldling and fresh gray paint. Ahhhh, love.

I love this idea from Ladybird.  What actually was an “accident” turned out to be a masterpiece!

And I am pretty amazed at what Trisha did–this looks like beadboard right?  Well, it’s faux beadboard!  Go and see how she did it. :)

Look at what Dianne did to some basic builder doors!  You’d be surprised at how easy this would be to do, and look at all the character it adds.  Definitely adding this on my to-do list.

Have you all seen Mandi’s version of her board and batten?  It’s quick, not permanent, and looks awesome.

And last but not least, if you have only admired all of that beautiful molding work in other people’s homes but have been intimated to try it yourself, Emily linked up a GREAT post telling you how to actually cut all of those pieces of molding.  I love her clear, easy to read instructions, so go on and check it out!  You too, can do it!

And that’s a wrap!  Go and visit some of those links and be inspired. :)  Thanks again for linking up everyone, I appreciate you all! Here’s the molding link party post again in case you missed it at the top. :)

Great molding projects! I love the way it adds so much character to a room. We added molding to our front hall and it totally changed the way that it feels when I come home now. It’s much more “Welcome home” and less “I’m a scary green monster”. You can see the transformation here if you’re interested.

2 labradoodle puppies were NOT on my 2026 vision board, but here we are.🥰

How could you NOT with these gorgeous colorings?! A red and blue Merle are so unique, and they are the sweetest!🐶🐶

It was my first time going with Randy to one of hi It was my first time going with Randy to one of his gigs. This wasn’t just any gig though. It was a very special wedding for a beautiful couple.❤️

And after witnessing firsthand what all he does for events like this, I have a new appreciation for what he does because it is a LOT.🤯

From loading in setting up three PA systems in 3 separate areas, then immediately switching gears to performance mode and playing ceremony music + sax, dinner music + MC’ing, then reception DJ’ing + sax. It was really pretty freaking mind-blowing to be honest. And then you have to tear it all down! Talk about a full day (I felt hungover the next day and I don’t even drink), but if you are in the entertainment business you get it. And he does this multiple times a month!

So many moving parts, and being flexible when you need to switch gears at the last minute, and he handles it with so much ease. That’s why he’s the professional at his craft.🫶

I was just there more as his emotional support person, but would love to do more events with him where I’m actually useful. 🤪Maybe I’ll learn to wrap up cords the right way one day to his liking, but that’s doubtful. 🤣

It was the perfect new year’s day and can’t wait to do it again!❤️

Congrats @claudine.said and @chefaustinsimmons it was a JOY witnessing your special day.

3 years without Daddy and Pawpaw💔 Does life mo 3 years without Daddy and Pawpaw💔

Does life move on?

Yes, but not without a hazy fog lingering over you that never fully lifts.

Not without the deep ache in your heart longing for more time.

Not without reaching for your phone wanting to call or text.

Not without the family gatherings knowing someone is missing, even though no one mentions it.

Not without crying when you think of him or look at old photos.

I still cannot talk about him without tearing up. Certain songs or sayings break me.

After losing a parent, everything looks different. Time with your family begins to feel more intentional, because you want the moments to last.

The hustle feels less important, because you realize your people matter more than any dollar amount.

Grief and gratitude can coexist. It’s okay to be sad, and it’s okay to be thankful for a dad who is worth missing.❤️
