I had a good day thrift shopping and actually found some items I was on the hunt for. I spent a total of $7 for all of this.
Now you may be thinking that isn’t really exciting, but I was because I needed another cheese dome and some flower pots. I have a few projects lined up for those pots and the cloche. :) Ohhhh the projects…never ending.
And look at this gallon of Ralph Lauren faux glaze!
It was .50!! YES, 50 cents!! And it’s a full gallon. Score! I’ll never need to buy glaze again in this lifetime. There were several things of paint that I didn’t have time to rummage through because it was disgustingly hot that day, but they had several Benjamin Moore and Sherwin Williams paints. I’d love to get my hands on some BM paint. Never used it before.
These small flower pots were .50 each, the medium was $1.00, and the larger one was $2.00.
Guess I better get to work now! :)
xxoo, Decorchick!
I’m so jealous of your super deals. I went to GW last week to find terra cotta pots and they wanted $6 for a medium one and $3 for the little ones. It was ridiculous. I have to find a better, cheaper thrift store.
Can’t wait to see what you have planned for your goodies!

Oh yuk! GW is expensive for that kind of stuff. Our thrift stores are way cheaper than GW. Hope you find some soon!
You did great!
Jeanine
Thanks Jeanine!! I LOVE your pillows btw. :)
You did good!! I love going to garage sales and thrifty stores ~ estate sales are good too. Be open, not all are great, but its fun and good $aving$!
Blessings,
Thanks Stephanie!! I love a good deal. :)
You scored! You are so right, the projects never end, but with bargains like these…bring them on!
Thanks Arlene! I’m trying. :)
Warning…I have a very weird sense of humor. I’m laughing at the term “BM paint”…I seem to recall a few toddlers I know using some of that. :)
HAHA, wow!! Love it!
Some great finds. I like the pots, which can be painted easily and filled with some pretty flowers or herbs. Can’t wait to see more projects.
Thanks Kathy, that’s the plan. :)
I am a huge fan of BM paints, you can’t go wrong, they are very durable. Great cheese dome too.
Cool, that’s what a hear. Can’t wait to try one day. :)
I can’t wait to see your finished projects! I love finding cheap paint!
Carol
Geez! A full gallon of technique glaze for 50 cents? Score of a lifetime!! Woot for you!

Hey Erin thanks for stopping by! I’ll come and see you too. :)
Hello, nice to meet you. I found you through New Friends Friday.
I know exactly what you mean about being excited. I love a good thrift store or yard sale find. A total treasure chest! And the cheaper the price, the treasure just grows more magical. 50 cents, I love it!
Hi Melissa! Thanks so much for visiting! :)
I’m soooooo jealous of your score on glaze. That would be a dream find while thrifting.
