Festive Glass Displays

Do you like pretty things in glass too?  I sure do!  Although, I was a bit lazy decorating my cloches and apothecary jars for Christmas this year.  I’m kind of *ahem* tired of decorating right now.  I bet you can’t believe I just said that huh?  I just went with the easy stuff mostly, which were ornaments and other sparkly fillers.  But they still look pretty, so enjoy! :)

I know that last one isn’t any type of glass display, I just thought it was a pretty neat shot. :)

Now, to see cloches and apothecary jar displays that are way better than mine, head on over to Marty’s because she is having a cloche party on Friday!  She is the cloche queen. :)

Um no, I’m right there with ya on the decorating…I decorate SO much for Fall because I’m so excited about the season’s changing. That by the time I have to put it all away and I don’t even want to drag out my Xmas stuff! Glad someone feels the same way as I ; )

Oh I love them all. I think all the Christmas balls, beads and bells look fabulous under a cloche. The one with the glass nativity is breathtaking. What a beautiful piece. Thanks so much for joining the party and the shout out. Hugs, Marty

Your displays are very pretty. I’ve been really into the clear glass containers filled with Christmas balls, some with snow, some without. I love that the clear containers have so many uses in the decor arena for all the rest of the year, not just Christmas. I’m kind of tired of the Christmas decorating, too. Now I just want to enjoy it. I’m trying to swear off “tweaking”!

2 labradoodle puppies were NOT on my 2026 vision board, but here we are.🥰

How could you NOT with these gorgeous colorings?! A red and blue Merle are so unique, and they are the sweetest!🐶🐶

It was my first time going with Randy to one of hi It was my first time going with Randy to one of his gigs. This wasn’t just any gig though. It was a very special wedding for a beautiful couple.❤️

And after witnessing firsthand what all he does for events like this, I have a new appreciation for what he does because it is a LOT.🤯

From loading in setting up three PA systems in 3 separate areas, then immediately switching gears to performance mode and playing ceremony music + sax, dinner music + MC’ing, then reception DJ’ing + sax. It was really pretty freaking mind-blowing to be honest. And then you have to tear it all down! Talk about a full day (I felt hungover the next day and I don’t even drink), but if you are in the entertainment business you get it. And he does this multiple times a month!

So many moving parts, and being flexible when you need to switch gears at the last minute, and he handles it with so much ease. That’s why he’s the professional at his craft.🫶

I was just there more as his emotional support person, but would love to do more events with him where I’m actually useful. 🤪Maybe I’ll learn to wrap up cords the right way one day to his liking, but that’s doubtful. 🤣

It was the perfect new year’s day and can’t wait to do it again!❤️

Congrats @claudine.said and @chefaustinsimmons it was a JOY witnessing your special day.

3 years without Daddy and Pawpaw💔 Does life mo 3 years without Daddy and Pawpaw💔

Does life move on?

Yes, but not without a hazy fog lingering over you that never fully lifts.

Not without the deep ache in your heart longing for more time.

Not without reaching for your phone wanting to call or text.

Not without the family gatherings knowing someone is missing, even though no one mentions it.

Not without crying when you think of him or look at old photos.

I still cannot talk about him without tearing up. Certain songs or sayings break me.

After losing a parent, everything looks different. Time with your family begins to feel more intentional, because you want the moments to last.

The hustle feels less important, because you realize your people matter more than any dollar amount.

Grief and gratitude can coexist. It’s okay to be sad, and it’s okay to be thankful for a dad who is worth missing.❤️
